Un debilitado Pino Negro Japones...

En general cuando trabajamos en Bonsai debemos contemplar siempre que estamos trabajando con técnicas que algunas veces se aplican a la jardinería , pero la gran parte de las técnicas solo se llevan a cabo únicamente en Bonsai. Algunas veces trabajar con un material vivo como los arboles, me hace ampliamente responsable de mis actos con ellos. Es así que algunas veces cuando estoy pasando momentos difíciles de abordar en mi vida personal, también mis arboles sufren de este trastorno. Hoy veremos la primera entrega de un pino que se ha debilitado por falta de trasplante y su consecuente obstrucción de los agujeros de drenaje. Este pino es un pino joven de unos doce años que en la ultima temporada no he llegado a trasplantar, sabiendo que estaba atrasado en ese aspecto. En general estos pinos son muy resistentes y sus condiciones de cultivo bastante primitivas. De manera que deben ocurrir una serie de hechos a la vez que hagan que su vida corra peligro. En Bonsai debemos establecer bien la diferencia entre un árbol que esta siendo cultivado para llegar a tener un material óptimo para ser trabajado con técnicas de formación, con otro que esta siendo cultivado para tener buena cantidad de ramas y hojas para seleccionar y llegar a otra fase. Las distintas fases de cultivo tienen un valor importante cuando trabajamos con pinos. Pero este aspecto debería ser estudiado cuidadosamente en diferentes artículos. Desde la siembra, pasando por los tres primeros años y despues las técnicas de formación que se complementan con las de cultivo, hasta llegar a una ramificación fina que merece refinamientos y técnicas apropiadas de poda para cada estación del año. Este pino negro japones fue podado y en el momento de podar su tronco de sacrificio para cambiar a otra rama que ocupe ese lugar, el arbol no mostro el vigor necesario. y por supuesto fue porque éste no estaba bien. Yo decidí que pasara el verano, después de una pobre brotación y cambiar a una maceta mas pequeña ya que sus raíces se habían dañado bastante. Muchas veces debemos hacer esto es pos de recuperar el vigor de las raíces que inevitablemente se verá reflejado en el equilibrio para restablecer el vigor y así brotar en primavera con mayor intensidad. Seguiremos a este pino así como otros que han sufrido distintos trastornos. el suelo que yo he usado aquí es un suelo de componentes orgánicos e inorgánicos (perlita, turba, corteza de pino, tierra negra y resaca de rio). La maceta en donde fue trasplantado es una maceta de cerámica, ya que este material es el mejor para estas circustancias, porque actúa como regulador de la humedad permitiéndole al exceso de humedad evaporarse mas rápidamente. Así también debemos considerar que en verano con las temperaturas altas un descuido en la falta de humedad puede ser fatal. No utilice recipientes de plástico o derivados. El árbol estará aquí por al menos dos años. estos tiempos dependen mucho de ciertas condiciones endógenas y exógenas... y por supuesto de nuestro amor. Los arboles deben ser amados como cualquier ser vivo en este gran hogar que tenemos.
